Botrix B

Fruit and grapevine microbiological fertilizer

BOTRIX B is a polyvalent microbiological preparation containing effective strains of microorganisms, Bacillus subtilis strain BS 2, Bacillus subtilis strain BS 10 and Bacillus subtilis strain BS 20.

These strains successfully compete with indigenous microbial populations, and have a high degree of ability to survive and adapt to newly created conditions in which they are to achieve their utmost efficiency. In addition to live bacterial cells, the preparation also contains growth stimulators of microbiological origin: gibberellins, auxins, cytokinins, vitamins and other agents of growth.

No preharvest interval

Organic bioproduct

Made in Serbia

BOTRIX B is used in both conventional
and organic agricultural production!

FOR SOIL TREATMENT

BOTRIX B is an excellent STARTER due to its high concentration of bacterial cells which produce growth stimulators, plant hormones and vitamins.

It is recommended to apply BOTRIX B after planting or at the beginning of vegetation by drip irrigation in the amount of 3l/ha.

FOR FOLIAR TREATMENT

It is carried out by spraying alone or with pesticides in the amount of 2l/ha, and if necessary with concentrations above 0.5-1%.

The first treatment with Botrix B is recommended at the beginning of the growing season. It is necessary to continue with the application several times until the very end of the growth cycle, ESPECIALLY in the sensitive phenological phases of plants and in stressful conditions caused by biotic and abiotic factors, for the purpose of faster recovery (ANTISTRESS CORRECTOR).

WHY USE BOTRIX B?

The bacteria that are found in BOTRIX B impact plant growth directly and indirectly. These powerful bacteria belong to the Bacillus sp. genus and are growth promoters and natural enemies to many phytopathogenic bacteria.

DIRECT PLANT GROWTH IS PROMOTED BY:
  • Production of plant hormones (auxin, gibberellin, cytokinin), ACC deaminase.
  • Improving the availability of nutrients (nitrogen fixation and phosphate solubilization), and through synthesizing organic acid and phosphatase that will translate the otherwise inaccessible phosphorus into a formula accessible to plants. Also, potassium, which is trapped in the soil in the form of aluminosilicates, thanks to the activity of bacteria from the Bacillus sp. genus becomes accessible to plants.
INDIRECT PLANT GROWTH IS PROMOTED BY:
  • Biological control of plant pathogens through root surface colonization.
  • By producing extracellular lytic enzymes, siderophores, antibiotics, hydrogen cyanide or activating plant defence mechanisms. Lipopeptides form a biofilm on the surface of plants, thus preventing the development of pathogens, and the enzyme subtilin interferes with the development of pathogens with its strong antibiotic action

Botrix B is an innovative product endorsed by the Innovation fund of the Republic of Serbia, within the Mini Grants program.
